Make sparkly, bright, and fun fits to wear for pride events!
Join us for a costume-making workshop in celebration of LGBTQIA+ Pride Week! Whether you're preparing for a parade, a party, or just want to craft something that represents your unique identity, our friend and fashion designer herself, Holly, will help you get creative with fabric. We'll have a variety of fabrics (metallics, velvet, stretch, tulle..) for plenty of inspiration to help you design vibrant, one-of-a-kind outfits, accessories, and statement pieces.
Bring ideas and anything you'd like to bedazzle, like clothing, hats, or leggings. This workshop is open to all skill levels and we’ll have volunteers on deck to assist.
Come connect with community, unleash your creativity, and craft something that lets you shine this Pride Week!
Ages 16 and above.
This is a FREE event but you need to RSVP. We kindly ask that everyone only reserve a space if they plan to attend the class -- canceling or not attending decreases our ability to serve the community with this free resource. Sign up for one of two sessions: 5-7pm or 7-9pm.
The LBGTQIA+ Community Craft Workshops aim to provide queer creatives with a space to generate ideas, explore, learn, and be supported in the community. Expert mentors and instructors will guide activities focused on creative play and exploration.
Please note that we may take photos during the workshop to use for future marketing. If you do not wish to be photographed, please email info@truckeeroundhouse.org.
