Forget everything you remember about prom. Truckee Pride and Arc’teryx Truckee are throwing a better one. This year’s dance party theme -- Queer Prom -- will be a high-energy, dressed-up, go-all-out night and the pinnacle celebration of Pride Week!
We have an all-star lineup of local queer djs! Wufky, Thunderbunny, dmack and Mayhem will be spinning all night long.
Great grooves, magical Pride Prome decor, and surprise performances throughout the night. This is your invitation to bedazzle, go all out, and have the kind of night Truckee rarely gets. Whether you come in full prom fantasy, mountain formal, thrifted glam, sequins, suiting, satin, or something completely your own -- just bring your version of fabulous.
Come hungry - we’ve got dinner covered! We’re excited to have EATS Cooking Co. on site, serving thoughtfully prepared food**** with a focus on quality ingredients and environmental care. Come early, grab a bite, and settle in for the night. Options for carnivores, omnivores, vegans, and GF folks alike!
Also: Late night cookies will be making an appearance by Truckee Cookies and we’ll have a Bar by Rin Tin Taps serving full-strength cocktails, low-ABV options, and mocktails all night.
Ride Your Bike We highly encourage biking to the event. Thanks to our partners at Truckee Trails, there will be bike racks available on site (BYO lock), and the bike path runs right up to the rec center - making it an easy way to arrive.
